Drop-in visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, basic medication when appropriate, and plenty of attention. We can also take care of simple home needs like bringing in mail or packages while you’re away.

We happily care for cats and other small household pets, too. Visits are customized around their individual routines and may include feeding, fresh water, litter care, playtime, companionship, and lots of affection—or respectful space for pets who prefer things on their own terms.

Let’s get to know each other first.

Before your first service, we’ll meet you and your pets in their home. We’ll learn about their routines, personalities, feeding schedules, favorite activities, medications, special needs, and all those little quirks that make them who they are. Most importantly, your pets get a chance to become comfortable with us before you leave.

FAQ

Do you board dogs at your house?

No. Stay Happy is in-home sitting. Your dog stays in your home so routines stay intact.

Do you sit cats or other pets?

The focus right now is dogs. If you have a multi-pet home that includes a cat or small animal alongside the dog, ask during the meet-and-greet.

How far in advance should I book?

As soon as travel dates are firm, especially around holidays. Mid-week last-minute sits are sometimes possible; weekends and holidays fill first.

What do you need from me before the sit?

Feeding and meds written down, vet and emergency contacts, door/alarm instructions, and anything your dog is particular about — crate, thunder, other dogs on the walk.

Can I meet you first?

Yes. A meet-and-greet is required before the first sit.
